About us

Built by school leaders,
for school leaders.

ProgressTeaching started with a simple observation: schools and trusts were being asked to improve teaching without a shared, reliable way of seeing it. We set out to build that.

Why we exist

Children's futures are shaped by the teaching they experience every day.

We help school and trust leaders see teaching and learning clearly, act proportionately to develop teachers, and improve deliberately to create the conditions where children learn exceptionally well.

An introduction from ProgressTeaching CEO Danielle Finlay

Built by leaders

A platform shaped by people who have done the job.

We are a team built around a single purpose. Many of us have led in schools and trusts ourselves. We understand the responsibility leaders carry, the importance of psychological safety for teachers, and the need for systems that feel done with people, not done to them.
